Four bedroom three bath private home located in the much desired mid beach area of Tybee Island. Located 100 yards from the beach. No main streets to cross to get to the Atlantic Ocean. Maximum occupancy is 10 with 4 parking spaces.
This spacious, comfortable house is just right for an extended family or for friends who like to vacation together. Located on the beach side of Butler Avenue at the corner of Sixth Street and Butler, it is just a block to the beach and close to restaurants, the grocery store and other Tybee attractions.
As you enter through the double garage, you will see two bedrooms on the ground level. The king bedroom has one brick wall and sliding glass doors which open onto a small shady yard. The second bedroom has two double beds. A pretty turquoise bathroom has a shower/tub combination. Each bedroom has a TV and artwork that celebrates life at the beach. This quiet area is a haven for the guests wishing a little more privacy.
Walk up 18 steps and enter a light filled, open living/dining/kitchen area. The living area has an inviting sofa and chairs where you can relax and watch the large screen TV. The fully equipped kitchen has a bar and stools for six and an island for prep work. There is a rectangle dining table for six in the dining area and a nearby round table for four. The artwork continues on this level with tributes to the ocean, the marshes, and local wildlife.
Sliding glass doors open onto a delightful covered porch area with cooling tile floors and four ceiling fans. More tables and chairs (will seat 11 people) and two chaise lounges make this a perfect spot for entertaining. A counter top serving area with storage underneath will come in handy as a buffet.
Also on this main level are two bedrooms and two baths. The yellow room has a king bed and a luxurious bath which features a frosted glass window and a separate shower and Jacuzzi style tub. This bedroom opens onto a small covered deck perfect for morning coffee. The blue bedroom has a queen bed and is near the second bath which has a shower/tub combination and cheerful palm tree wallpaper. Each of the bedrooms has a small TV.
The washer and dryer are located in the garage. Between the garage area and the paved driveway, there is ample parking. There is plenty of room as well in this pleasant house for family and friends to enjoy each other’s company while enjoying Tybee Island.

Review Title : Beach AdventureWe always enjoy our time spent at Tybee. 15 Sixth St.was a great home for us-lots of room, almost everything we needed(needed a mixer) very comfortable and clean. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Greatful we were able to stay for 10 days. Was the only place we found that would do that for us.

Review Title : Nice Vacation, Nothing SpectacularOverall, our experience was fine. The bathrooms were not cleaned well at all when we got there. The cleaning company options are probably not great in the area. The rest of the home was just typical beachhouse dirt. Tybee is just kind of a grungy feeling place, to be honest, so the house reflects that to some extent. The layout of the home worked great for our group (2 sets of parents and 2 sets of children). It is an easy walk to the beach from this address. We enjoyed the ping pong table, too. The big porch upstairs was also great to hang out on, just prepare yourself for Butler Ave noise.

Review Title : Just steps away from the beach! You can hardly beat the location of this house as we were just a few feet from the beach. We have previously rented houses on Tybee further away from the beach entrance, and this much easier to navigate with we three kids and LOADS of beach gear. The noise from the street could be too much from some people, but it really didn't bother any of us. The house itself is laid out well for two families and gives everyone the space and privacy they need. However, the family room furniture is dingy. It should be cleaned or replaced, but the biggest negative about the house is the floors. The cleaning crew really needs to mop the floors rather than just sweep them. (Our feet were black from walking barefoot in the house! Yuck.)

Review Title : Great Stay on TybeeOur family visited for fall break and had a great experience. We LOVED the big porch and open space of the house. The walk to the beach was short and the kids loved having a big space to play! The ping pong table kept them busy! Very clean, the rental was easy and Jim was very pleasant to talk to. We would definitely pick this house and rental company again!!
