Description
Walk up 16 steps to a front porch where a large concrete pelican invites you to sit down and enjoy an ocean view and a great breeze. Two rocking chairs and an outside dining table/chairs offer a place for morning coffee or an evening meal. You can also enter this house from inside the garage. Either way you will step into a soothing blue and green haven with low country art and tasteful nautical décor.
The living room has plenty of comfortable seating and a 47” flat screen TV. Pocket doors lead into a charming bedroom with twin beds. Next to this bedroom is another small bedroom with one twin bed. Down the hall is a full bath with a shower.
The fully equipped kitchen/dining area, with ample counter space and a desk, can be entered from the hall or from the living room. A kitchen bar seats four and the dining table seats six. You can see the ocean from the living and the dining area.
The second floor, 18 steps up, has three bedrooms. The two queen bedrooms are separated by a full bath with a shower/tub combo and a closet with the washer/dryer. There is a panoramic ocean view from the spacious master bedroom which opens onto the upper deck. The master has a TV, sofa, and a bath with a double vanity, a Jacuzzi style tub and a shower. One of the queen bedrooms also has a view of the water.
You can enter the upstairs deck from the hall as well as from the master bedroom. Sit in the Adirondack type chairs and enjoy that panoramic view while the breezes blow your cares away.
Beautiful but easy care floors in the living/dining/kitchen areas are reclaimed wood from an old barn. The bathrooms are tiled and the bedrooms have carpet. This house has lots of light which can be adjusted with plantation shutters or blinds.
Located in a mostly residential neighborhood, this house is across the street from the beach walkway. This quiet area of the north beach is ideal for families.

Review Title : Fantastic vacation home
Once again we completely enjoyed our stay on Tybee and it was due in part to this great rental. Perfect location. Spacious and clean. Thanks again to Jim from Tybee Cottages for helping make our time on Tybee comfortable and scenic. Would highly recommend this property.By Patty W for a stay in Apr, 2013
Review Title : 3 Driftwood Ct rocks
The property was everything we had hoped for. Jim was so helpful in getting us in and we could not have asked for a more restful and relaxing vacation. The view from lower and upper decks is beachfront even though you are actually across the street there is no house to block the view. Kitchen with everything you need and plenty of bath and bedrooms. Just a few little maintenance things but nothing we could not handle. Main bedroom shower drain very slow, sliding doors locking mechanism very hard to lock, garage door opener not working. None of these items would keep us from another week in this property. The location was very suitable for our family as it is away from the hustle and bustle and the beach is nice on the north end of the island. I highly recommend this property for anyone headed for Tybee Island.By Gregory A S From Greenville, IN for a stay in Jul, 2012

Review Title : Girls Beach Getaway
I recently rented 3 Driftwood Court for a beach vacation for my mom & my sisters. The house is in a private community with it's own beach accesses (meaning less crowded beaches). The house is 2nd row, with beach access directly across the street. The house actually has 5 bedrooms (the fifth being a single twin)and has a great ocean view from the 2nd floor deck. We found the kitchen to be pretty well stocked with dishes, pots & pans, and utensils. I'm not one to go to the beach to watch TV, but a flat screen would be a great addition to the house. Jim with Tybee Cottages was very helpful and receptive before and during our stay.By a guest for a stay in May, 2012
Review Title : Rent this place!!!
My husband and I stayed here with two other couples. We all have kids under one. The house was in great shape and so close to the beach. When we go back to Tybee we will rent this one again!By Stephanie M for a stay in Apr, 2012
Review Title : A few maintenance issues but a great spot
Excellent property and location, especially since we had our son and his family stay with us for a week, perfect size and layout for 4adults 2 children. Great beach access and marvelous views from both balconies. Extremely quiet and private location. There were some minor maintenance needs, which did not at all disrupt our stay. Upstairs bath room shower had a leak, a family of doves lived in the eaves, one garage door would not open....rust? Every thing else worked great.By a guest for a stay in Mar, 2012
Review Title : perfect place for a family with little ones and teenagers...
The property was nice and excellent location to the beach and downtown Tybee. There were a couple of items that you might want to look into: 1.Shower upstairs leaks down into kitchen above stove, thinks it's actually leaking around the drain. 2.Day 3 into our stay we realized that the windows were open a little bit in every room, we closed them. 3. The bathroom downstairs felt like the tile was loose and might need some repairs 4. I think I would give it an excellent rating if there was a little more cleaning, there was a lot of dust on basebords, door hinges. At the end of the day it was great, Thanks...By David P for a stay in Mar, 2012

Review Title : Wonderful!
We celebrated our anniversary with friends and had a wonderful time. We loved the house, loved the property and loved the view. When they said "complete kitchen," they weren't kidding. We did not need to bring anything. Thanks to Jim Heflin for his guidance and help.By John H From na for a stay in Oct, 2011
Review Title : Ultimate Beach House!
Our stay on Tybee was fantastic. The house is a beautifully decorated, well-stocked beach house and the location could not be better. Only a 2 minute walk from front door to the shore! The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the beach is not too crowded. Thanks, Jim, for your recommendation and help!By Whitney Z From na for a stay in Aug, 2011
Review Title : Relaxing beach getaway
This home is directly on the beach with a pathway to the beach and with amazing views. The home is beautiful, comfortable and in a wonderful location. This is the place to go to get away from all the hustle and bustle. There is plenty to do as well. There are 4 forts in the area for the history nut, the lighthouse is a great place to visit and Savannah is a short 15 minute drive. Food is out of this world. You don't have the main restaurant chains on the Island, but the small local places have great food. The people here are very friendly as well. The only recommendation I would give is to bring plenty of bug spray. The mosquitos are numerous, but they don't prevent you from having a great vacation. There is plenty for all ages to do or you can just enjoy the home and the beach. Our family would with out a doubt like to vacation here again.By Missy From Kentucky for a stay in Jul, 2011
