Review Title : Bead Cottage Spring Break 2013The Bead Cottage of Tybee was wonderful. The cottage was so well kept and original. Our family of 5 had a great Spring vacation. Only a few miles from Savannah, what an awesome, relaxing place. The pool, while only 59degrees, was a great past time for the kids. We loved every minute of our Georgia vacation and your property was at the top of the list for memories. Jim Heflin was very kind. Thanks so much. We will be sure to share it with all our friends.

Review Title : A wonderful stay!'We had a wonderful stay at Bead Cottage! The cottage was like a little piece of heaven! Bead cottage was clean, convenient to everything, and was equipped with everything we needed. We walked to the beach and most things we needed such as groceries and places to eat were really close by! We would love to stay there again! Jim Heflin was easy to work with and responded quickly to any question. I highly recommend his cottages and Tybee Island.

Review Title : The BeadUpgrades; i.e. wifi and new tv were a very nice edition. Inside the house was spotless. The refrigerator setting froze many produce items and we never changed the setting. The outside could have been hosed down. Other than that, loved the cottage and would go back when and if i can afford it.

Review Title : 4th Time a CharmThis was our fourth visit to Bead Cottage and once again we were not disappointed. Pool, Porch and closeness to beach are the main reasons we keep coming back. Wireless internet was a welcome addition to the cottage this time. It's the perfect relaxing place.

Review Title : 5 stars for Tybee's BeadThis is our 4th time using Tybee Cottages and every time has been a 5 star rating!! Tybee Island is our most favorite vacation spot, as soon as we arrive we unload our bikes and we ride everywhere- restaurants, north beach, south beach, pier, back river, IGA, etc......Tybee Time and Tybee Cottages are the best!!! Thank you Jim Heflin :-)

Review Title : Time slips by.We loved this cottage and neighborhood and would rent it again. The cottage is small and old (with an simi-open floor plan)so the wood floors creaked... you were often woken up by the night time sleep wonderers. We BBQ most nights and having the porch for gatherings or reading was fun and the pool was the BEST!!!Beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas are not provided but you can easily rent or buy locally. The cottage was in walking distance (aprox 3 blocks)but we drove at times because of beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. Parking was available and not too expensive $12.00 day. Tybee Island is a quaint place we loved the dunes and beaches. Time slips by too fast here! Jim with TybeeCottages was available and easy to work with.

Review Title : Winners ... Tybee Island, Tybee Cottages, Bead CottageThis was the third time we've stayed in Bead Cottage and the fifth time we've rented through Jim Heflin at Tybee Cottages. We've already had one friend here in Kansas follow our suggestion to stay in Bead Cottage, and others are likely to do the same. That speaks volumes regarding our satisfaction.

Review Title : Back to the PastCharming & authentic decor. My husband and I were very pleased with Bead Cottage. Comfortable, great location, quiet and relaxing. Pool was brilliant-screened porch...our favorite! One con - short on toilet paper, hand soap & no laundry detergent! I think this was one of those oversights that just happen because everything else was sooo perfect. Grocery just down the block...beach a few steps away. Good memories.

Review Title : Wonderful retreat/vacationStaying at Bead Cottage was a real treat. We particularly loved the porch and pool. We enjoyed the quiet of the cottage and liked the area which was close to the beach. We would love to return in the future and would highly recommend the cottage and management. Jim (cottage manager) was very helpful when we needed him. We highly recommend the Bead Cottage to anyone who plans to vacation on Tybee Island

Review Title : A cottage like Tybee -- unique, charming, and cozyWe stayed here for four nights the last week of august and were very pleased with our rental choice. The cottage has character and clearly a good bit of thought and care has been put into the restoration of the home. For a couple, the cottage was plenty of room and very private. There is an additional bedroom with two twin beds in it and smaller sleeping area with another twin which we didn't need to use. We loved the pool in the backyard -- it was cleaned twice during our short stay. The large screened porch on the side of the cottage really adds to the living space. My husband and I enjoyed breakfast and lunch outside. We also turned on the twinkle lights and night and soaked up the breezes and chatted. The location is along the Tybee Island bike route and it was nice to see so many cyclists pedal past. It is in a more residential area and it appeared that the neighbors across the street were locals. Consequently the area was fairly quiet. The cottage feels private due to a fence in the front topped by confederate jasmine and a privacy fence on the pool side. The privacy fence is not along the back but there is pretty dense cover along the back property line from trees/bushes. The cottage includes washer/dryer, handy drying rack on the porch for swim suits/towels, and a generous supply of bath and beach towels. No internet or land line but we thought that was a plus. Small TV with VCR and cable if you want to check the news. Very close to the local Ymca and an easy 2.5 - 3 blocks from the nearest beach access. We would definitely consider Tybee Cottages again and will recommend to family/friends. A lovely and memorable stay.

Review Title : Fantastic Getaway!Bead Cottage offers the ultimate beach vacation rental---it's perfect... private, clean & beautifully decorated. A three-block walk gets you to a wide, sandy beach. The huge porch beckons you to a relaxing read on the hammock. The pool offers the perfect cool-down while dinner cooks on the grill and the interior is cool and comfortable. Lots of room for a family of 4. We couldn't recommend it more highly.

Review Title : Great Getaway! We had a wonderful stay. The location is close enough to walk to the beach easily (even with all of our beach gear) but far enough off the main road to be quiet most of the time. When we weren't on the beach we were in the pool or hanging out on the fantastic porch. Thanks for a great vacation!
