Description
This charming white cottage, circa 1930, is accented throughout with the blues and greens of nature. Bead board walls and painted floors, reminiscent of earlier times, co-exist with comfort and modern conveniences. Walk up seven steps and enter a fully equipped, open kitchen/dining/living area with chairs for eight at the round dining table and a comfortable seating area with a TV. From here, step onto the oasis of the 694 square foot screened porch with ocean blue floors. Out here, you’ll find wicker chairs, Adirondack chairs, several tables and chairs, a day bed for naps, and a TV.
All on one level, there are four bedrooms. The king bedroom has its own full bath with tub/shower combo and special touches like painted palm tree tiles. Shell accents, including a large mirror, highlight the queen bedroom. The Roy Rogers bedroom, with twin beds, will delight cowboys and cowgirls of all ages. A second full bath with tub/shower combo is near these bedrooms. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and opens into a half bath.
Outside, there is a patio with BBQ grill…another plus for Blue Moon Cottage.

Review Title : Cold Spring Break Couldn't Damper Vacation @ Blue Moon
Loved the Blue Moon Cottage! It was a great experience and fit our group perfectly! Never know if it is as good as the pictures and was even better. Had family and friends staying and I was concerned what they would think and it was all very positive. The porch is worth the stay, but only got to use it one evening because of the weather! 9 month old grandson sure enjoyed the basket of toys. The location of the cottage was perfect for us and we all had a wonderful vacation. I would love to come back to Tybee and stay at the Blue Moon again. Island restaurants were great and how handy to have the IGA just around the corner. Shout out to Sting Ray's! Great food and great waitress. Thanks Jim! Review Title : Blue Moon Cottage
We loved the cottage. The atmosphere was great: a beautiful, old house; wrap-around, screened porch; and very cute beach decorating everywhere. There was plenty of room and everything we needed as far as cookware, etc. Booking was very easy. The people at Tybee Island Cottages are very nice! The only thing we weren't crazy about was 10 am checkout. Seems awful early for vacation. One bathroom was not very clean when we checked in. Loved the porch and layout of the cottage. Walking distance to beach and resterants was close. Traffic on Jones Ave. was a bit busier than I liked for sitting on the porch.
