Review Title : A Wonderful Retreat!Splash Shack is a comfortable and quaint place to relax and enjoy a respite from the daily grind. Located in the quieter North End of Tybee near Fort Screven, it is a wonderful combination of private and convenient. Highly recommended!

Review Title : We loved Tybee and Splash Shack! This cottage was just what we needed for a restful vacation. We loved the screen porch and the private backyard pool, and we used the bikes for early morning rides to the beach to watch the sunrise. Beautifully decorated, warm and inviting, a home away from home. We loved it!

Review Title : Freezing Cold Spring BreakCold front went through, so we were kinda stuck inside. 4 kids, 2 moms...you'd think it would stink. The house was wonderful. Kids loved the house, we loved the house. Anytime the sun came out the kids were able to run right outside and play. It was wonderful. Less wind and more sun is the only thing that would have made it better. Hope to try again in warmer weather. We'll definitely be back!

Review Title : Splash ShackWe really enjoyed our vacation on Tybee Island. The Splash Shack is really a fun place to stay. It brought back memories of vacations long ago. The property is really cute. We enjoyed the screened in front porch. The decor is well done and very comfortable. We will be going back. Very satisfied.

Review Title : Great Time! The house was absolutely charming! The pool was just perfect for the property. It was a little further from the beach than I expected, but the walk was great - quiet neighborhood, friendly people! It was just what we needed! I would definitely return - just charming! Thank you!

Review Title : a very very very fine houseSPLASH SHACK was our kind of place! The fantasy of living in a quintessential beach cottage realized! Beautifully decorated and functionally equipped, it was home if only for a week. Driving to beach was no problem and the beach itself almost felt private. With the pool in the yard--a giant bathtub to sunbathe around and to cool off in--"life used to be so hard now everthing is easy cuz of you." Highly recommended!

Review Title : Splashy Splash ShackAs we had rented from Tybee Cottages before, we knew we would have a pleasant arrival, and we were not disappointed. The layout of the cottage, the furniture, linens, decor were all lovely. The pool and surrounding area were larger than the pictures indicated which was a nice surprise. The kitchen was very charming and functional and everything about the cottage made us feel cozy, at home and blissful. This property is within an easy walk to the less-crowded north beach area. My teenagers would walk down on their own at times. Other times I would drop everyone off with the beach gear, drive back to the cottage and then bike up to the beach. It's a quiet residential area that provides a lovely hideaway. We loved it!

Review Title : Kids had a "SPLASH" at Splash Shack! It was so very nice to come to the beach and still feel at home. This rental is just the right size for a small family. We came when a tropical storm hit, so the beach was closed for the majority of our stay. But, with this rental having a pool, we still were able to get our feet wet. It's also walking distance to the lighthouse and Jaycee's Park, which is great for kids itching to get outside! We can't wait to come back again.

Review Title : Amazing Vacation!!This property was everything we had hoped for and more. It's very private on a super quiet street. To say this unit is adorable is not to do it justice. The house was outfitted with anything you could possibly need. My family had a wonderful week floating
around the pool and walking on the beach. We will be back again soon.

Review Title : Sweet Peace! My husband and I stayed at this sweet cottage in May for our 40th anniversary and we loved it! Granted, it wasn't right on the beach, but the peace and quiet (we're beyond the party stage of life) of the neighborhood more than made up for it, and the beach is just minutes away. It's beautifully furnished, cozy, and, much to my delight, spotlessly clean! Thank you for allowing us to stay in this sweet cottage. I will recommend it to my family and friends.

Review Title : Dollhouse!Very charming and cozy - like staying in a pretty dollhouse. Our twin 9 year old boys loved the little pool. It's a renovated older cottage - so we weren't too bothered by little things like the shower curtain not working well to keep the water off the bathroom floor, the small nature the queen bed for two adults or the friendly cat that hangs around the porch and yard. I was irritated by the house behind us who kept their back flood light on all night. The sheer curtains don't have blackout liners - so we had to deal with the light all night as we tried to sleep. Nothing you can do about the neighbors! Overall, we had a nice family stay in SplashShack and enjoyed its close proximity to the beautiful, family-oriented north beaches.

Review Title : The cottage was clean and country chic!Such a wonderful experience for our family, great to spend time in the ocean, then back to swim more in the clean pool at the cottage. The cottage was clean and country chic! Only about 30 minutes to Savannah.

Review Title : Living on Tybee Time!I knew after talking with Jim at Tybee Cottages we were going to have a pleasant stay. Once we walked into the Splash Shack, it was like coming home. We have stayed at the Splash Shack several times, and have always had a wonderful stay. The atmosphere of Tybee is like no other, the friendliest people, the best seafood restaurants, the laid back, peaceful feeling is what we enjoy the most. The Splash Shack was very clean, the kids loved the fun-sized pool, the kitchen has everything thing you need, beds are very comfortable, and great books to read. We love our time at Tybee!

Review Title : Great Stay! The home is cute as can be - in a great location! Jim was great to work with and I appreciated his assistance. My only complaint was that the house could have been cleaner (the bathroom, the kitchen and dust/dirt is visable under the various cabinets in the home. Overall though - great stay!

Review Title : Relaxing in a Setting that is Family Friendly and Peaceful. We so enjoy Tybee and Tybee Cottages that we have returned year after year. We appreciate not being nickled and dimed and we always get what we pay for with other expectations exceded. Jim Heflin is a delight to deal with and the property makes you feel like you actually "own" it for the stay. It is a wonderful combination of feeling like we are away while still feeling like we are at home. Thank you for your excellent service.
